Fish Farming UV Water Treatment Disinfection Equipment
Product name: Ultraviolet Water Sterilizer
Introduction
UV system is designed to treat flows ranging from 2-1136m3/h, and can be used for germicidal disinfection, ozone destruction, TOC reduction, and liquid sugar disinfection. It is suitable for indoor installation in locations including food and beverage processing plant, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals manufacturing, hospitals and laboratories, water treatment and community drinking water systems.
Compared with other disinfection form, UV sterilizer has the following advantages:
1,High efficient sterilization: normally kill 99%-99.9% bacteria within 1 to 2 seconds.
2, Broad spectrum: UV rays has broadest spectrum, can kill almost all bacteria and virus.
3, No secondary pollution: don't add any chemical agent, so cannot create secondary pollution to
water and ambient environment, do not change any ingredients in water.
4, Safe and reliable to operate: traditional disinfection technology such as adopting chloride or
ozone, whose disinfection agent itself are highly toxic and flammable material. While UV sterilizer
has no such potential safety hazard .
5, Low maintenance fee: UV sterilizer occupies a small area, structure requirement is simple, so
total investment is smaller. Lower in operation, it costs only half than that chlorine disinfection in water treatment.
Principle of Operation
UV water disinfection system design has been carefully conceived to provide adequate germicidal dosage throughout the disinfection chamber. The dosage, as it applies to UV disinfection, is a function of time and the intensity of UV radiation to which the water is exposed. Exposure time is related to the flow rate, the higher the flow rate, the lower the exposure time or the lower the flow rate, the higher the exposure time. The UV intensity is the amount of energy, per unit time, emitted by germicidal lamp. The Dosage is the product of UV intensity and the exposure time.
Limitation of Use
The UV water disinfection system NOT intended for the treatment of water that has an obvious contamination or intentional source, such as raw sewage, nor is the unit intended to convert wastewater to microbiologically safe drinking water.
Water Quality (in)
Water quality plays a major role in the transmission of germicidal UV rays. It is recommended that the water does not exceed following maximum concentration levels
Maximum Concentration Levels (Very Important)
Iron≤ 0.3ppm(0.3mg/L)
Hardness≤ 7gpg(120mg/L)
Turbidity≤ 1NTU
Manganese≤ 0.05ppm(0.05mg/L)
Tannins≤ 0.1ppm(0.3mg/L)
UV Transmittance≥ 750‰

FAQ:
A. No. No radiation residual or any chemical residual is left in the water as a result of the UV rays.
Q. Do these systems come in different sizes?
A. Yes. The water that enters the ultraviolet sterilizer must be absolutely clear and have a turbidity of less than 1 NTU. If your water is cloudy, then it must be pretreated.
