Multi-bag filter housing SS304 For Liquid FIltration
Filter Bag Housing SS are a lightweight, economical, industrial commercial design
suitable for a wide variety of filtration applications. The 100% stainless steel and
passivated finish provides superior corrosion resistance and an excellent appearance.
Specifications
These equipments use high density filter bags. Silt and mud in the water can be removed completely in very short time.
Top opening caps were used so it doesn't need any tools to open cap when filter bags need to change.
This equipment can be installed as a pre-filter before a water reservoir tank or after water reservoir tank to completely filter out the impurity in the water.
Housing Operation
Unfiltered liquid enters the housing above the filter bags or strainer baskets, flows down into the housing,
and continues through the elements. Solids are trapped inside the filter bags or strainers and easily removed
when the housing is serviced. Our standard o-ring seal between the baskets and the housing ensures a postive
seal to prevent bypass.
Vessel Construction
Our multi-round vessels are designed for operating up to 150 PSI at 300 degrees Fahrenheit. The housing design
provides a large sump area at the bottom of the basket for particulate accumulation. This design utilizes the filter
more efficiently and prolongs the element life.
The 316 S.S. basket seals onto a buna o-ring to eliminate particulate bypass between the basket and seat.
Optional mesh-lined strainer baskets and o-rings are available. Please refer to their individual brochures in our liquid catalog.
A vent in the housing lid and a drain port in the housing speed evacuation and filling. Gauge ports are located on the lid and
body of the housing to install gauges for monitoring the differential pressure across the bag. Permanently piped housings are
opened with simple tools without disturbing the piping. Swing bolts with eye-nuts allow easy opening and closing of the swing-lid.
No need to remove any hardware.

Structure and working principle
Bag filter is a widely used for liquid filtration,it can remove the particles of different size from liquid,in order to
achieve liquid filtration,purification,separation,recovery purposes.It consists of three parts:bag housing,supporting
basket and filter bags.According to flow rate,you may use multiple bags in a bag housing.First,the liquid enter into
the housing from the inlet,which may placed in the side or on the top,and then flow into the filter bag which is
braced by basket.Due to the impact pressure of fluid,the bag will extend and the liquid get evenly filtered through
the bag and flow out of the outlet pipe.Impurities are trapped in the bag,the filtration process is complete.When
you replace or clean the bag,just simply loosen the bolt,rotary hand wheel lifting the lid,and get the bag.
